About Us
National Safety Education Center (NSEC) is an OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC) serving
the Midwest region. NSEC is part of a national network of non-profit organizations authorized by OSHA
to deliver occupational safety and health training to public and private sector workers, supervisors, and
employers. Our partnership, which consists of Northern Illinois University & the Construction Safety Council,
allows us to teach courses in OSHA Region V (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin).

The certificate program in Public Sector Safety & Health Fundamentals supports OSHA's
mission by training public sector employees in occupational safety and health to reduce
incident rates for workers in state and local governments.

OSHA #500 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and
Health Standards for Construction Industry
This course is designed for individuals interested in teaching the Course Dates*
10- and 30-hour construction safety and health Outreach Training
Program to their employees and other interested groups. Using OSHA 01/06/20 - 01/09/20 Hillside, IL
